In support of the New Alresford Town Council litter picking day the Club was able to field a full squad to clear Tichborne Down and Sun Hill roadsides. From what appeared to be a reasonably litter free zone at the start within one and half hours we had assembled around 20 full sacks of rubbish.
Most interesting finds
- In excess of 12 empty half bottles of Vodka
- Alloy wheel and tyre
- 3 sacks of one edition of the Alton Gazette.
Most anti social find
- Bagged and slung dogs doings hanging from bushes and trees
Thanks to all who supported the task including those of the team who secured a cup of tea from a grateful resident within 10 minutes of starting work.
