Roger retired in 2001, after 40 years in the computer industry, to spend more time with his trains. Keen on growing “stuff I can eat” as well as playing trains (7mm/ft), he joined Rotary in 1976, is a Founder Member of the Alresford Club and has done most jobs in the Club, skilfully avoiding Treasurer.
