Ken Coburn joined the Rotary Club of Alresford in 1996. He was an Engineer Officer in the Royal Air Force until 1994, serving for 36 years and then, following a 2-year period working as a self-employed defence marketing consultant, was employed as a research manager at the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency (later to be renamed the Defence Science and Technology Laboratories) for 10 years before his retirement in 2004. Ken served as Club Treasurer for several years.
